At The Imaging Center, we believe that high-quality diagnostic imaging should be accessible to everyone. We’re committed to making the process as smooth and transparent as possible, whether you’re using insurance or paying out of pocket. 

Flexible Payment Options

Not every patient’s coverage is the same; we care about making every patient encounter fit their needs and therefore offer flexible payment options. If you decide to pay without insurance, we offer special, more affordable Self-Pay rates. 

• For payment, we accept credit cards, debit cards, HSA, and FSA.
• For patients using their health insurance, deductibles and co-payments may be applicable and will be collected at the time of service.

The Imaging Center (TIC) is an independent imaging center, so unlike hospitals, we do not charge a hospital facility fee. As a result, our rates are typically a fraction of hospital charges. A scan that costs approximately $500 at TIC—including the radiologist’s interpretation—can cost $2,000–$4,000 at a hospital, sometimes with an additional $150–$300 radiology reading fee.

TIC bills globally, meaning the radiologist’s interpretation is already included. Simply put, we provide high-quality advanced imaging at a substantially lower overall cost. Before your appointment, we check with your insurance company to determine what they show you owe at the time of service. We collect that estimated amount and provide you with a Good Faith Estimate. Because insurance information can change as other claims are processed, your final amount may be different.

Once your insurance processes the claim, we adjust your account accordingly. Collecting your estimated portion at the time of service helps us continue providing high-quality imaging at a fraction of hospital costs.
