Fast answers, clear images, trusted care.

At The Imaging Center, we offer fast, safe, and accurate digital X-rays using the latest technology to minimize radiation exposure while maximizing image quality. Our digital imaging systems enable quick positioning, reduced scan times, and near-instant image review by our technologists, making it a straightforward diagnostic tool that plays a vital role in evaluating bones, joints, and certain soft tissues.

Before Your Procedure

Preparing for an X-ray at The Imaging Center is easy. In most cases, you won’t need to do anything special beforehand. However, we do recommend wearing comfortable clothing with minimal metal to ensure there is no image obstruction. Depending on the area being scanned, you may be asked to change into a gown to ensure clear, artifact-free images.

Please remove all jewelry, piercings, or accessories from the area being imaged. Lockers are available in our private lounge rooms for your belongings, but we encourage you to leave unnecessary items at home. If you have any implanted medical devices, notify our staff before your scan.

During Your Procedure

X-ray procedures at The Imaging Center are quick and painless. A trained technologist will position you to ensure the clearest possible image of the area being evaluated. Thanks to our state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment, radiation exposure is kept low, and technologists can immediately review the image quality to avoid unnecessary retakes.

Most exams take only 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the number of images needed. You may be asked to remain still briefly or hold your breath while the image is captured to avoid motion blur. Your comfort and safety are always our priority throughout the process.

After Your Procedure

There is no downtime after an X-ray; once your scan is complete, you can return to your normal activities with no restrictions. A board-certified radiologist will interpret your images and create a detailed report for your referring provider. Most results are available within 24 hours, helping you get answers and begin any necessary treatment as soon as possible.
